Since my prediction that oil will come down to $82 I have observed it climb dramatically and drop back down. It seems that they are trying to keep oil over the $100 mark. This will not be sustainable as the world economy slows down.

I got up this morning and the first thing I did was turn on CSPAN. The various Cspan chanels were covering the Congressional debate on the pending bill sponsored by Demorcratic Representative Carolyn Maloney of Astoria. This bill is for the regulation of Credit Card companies. It is designed to protect consumers against unfair and [...]

I was at $102 when I predicted the drop to $82. It seems we are already at $92. That was quick.

I expect the price of oil to drop further. I feel we will see oil prices reaching $82-86 range in the near future. Currently oil is trading at $102 per barrel. Just my humble prediction. Even though OPEC cut its production, prices have again retreated. The other effective tool for bumping up prices seems to [...]

Is it just me or did I get this wrong? The Fed’s takeover of these GSE’s signals a disaster to me. Yet, the stock market responds positively. Yes, I do understand that this might seem like good news but in reality it is affirmation of the worse kind of news. Fannie and Freddie are [...]

Oil companies during the meteoric rise of a barrel of oil to $147,00, did not increase the prices at the pumps in direct relation to the percentage of the increase in prices. In fact their were losses to the oil companies. Are they suggesting that the oil companies [...]
